Motorcycle Crash Leave Operator in Critical Condition

New Castle- On Saturday, November 3rd, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Troopers responded to the area of Route 1 southbound just north of Route 273 in reference to a motorcycle crash. 

This investigation revealed a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by David Hilliard, 40, of Bear, was traveling south on Route 1, in the left lane, when he lost control and fell to the ground.  The bike slid into the center median where Mr. Hilliard and the bike came to a stop.

Investigators advise speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in this crash.  Mr. Hilliard was wearing a helmet at the time of this incident.
