I incurred an injury while on an airplane as it finished landing and was parking. Can I file a claim for damages?

Can I sue the airplane company for an injury to my back resulting from a collision with another airplane while parking the plane?

An aviation accident is generally defined as an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, in which a person is fatally or seriously injured, the aircraft sustains damage or structural failure and/or the aircraft is missing or is completely inaccessible.

There are many sources that may of caused your aviation accident, some of which include piliot intoxication, maintenance failure, defective plane parts, flight employee negligence, and aircraft fueling negligence. You may want to start your research by notifying the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration. These government organizations will conduct an investigation which will help you determine what may of caused the accident. From there, you may prove that the party responsible for your injury was negligent which means that they failed to exercise a reasonable standard of care under the particular circumstances. Moving forward, it would be best to consult with a Accident Attorney that specialized in aviation accidents to determine the best course of action for your case.
